DAPP Clothes and Shoes

The DAPP Clothes and Shoes project has over the past 25 years contributed significantly to the empowerment of the vulnerable and poor, children, youth, women and men in the rural communities through the projects implemented by DAPP within education and vocational training, agriculture and food security, community development, and health; thus improving families’ access to good sanitation facilities, clean and safe drinking water; improved agriculture techniques; quality primary education for children taught by graduates from DAPP colleges and access to health and nutrition information

Customer With A Bale Of Cloths

DAPP Clothes and Shoes also improves the living standards of the people in Malawi by enabling families to buy good quality second hand clothes and shoes at a low cost. Currently operating 1 sorting center, 12 wholesale shops and 18 retail shops across the country and employing a workforce of more than 300 people in the different departments.

The project indirectly creates self-employment for big bale customers who in turn employ assistants.
